Of all the variations of yoga that have emerged over the years, this just might be the most intriguing.
NBC sister site The Feast has an intriguing feature on paddleboard yoga, a kind of floating yoga at sea. Jenny Greenlees, a kundalini yoga instructor and massage therapist at Sole East Resort in Montauk, is hosting her first stand-up paddle sunset yoga class on Saturday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Greenlees tells The Feast that unlike some other forms of yoga, "kundalini poses rely heavily on sitting and kneeling," so it should be doable for even novice yogis.
For those who are more advanced, the headstand makes for a nice view, she says: "Everything is upside down, and the ocean is the sky."
Greenlees is also offering a morning class for beginners on a deck overlooking Fort Pond.
