Zelda Kaplan, nightlife legend, remains one of New York's most notorious club kids at age 93.
The gray-haired nonagenarian donned dark oversized glasses and a ruby red ensemble last night at Amnesia Nightclub where she was honored at a fundraiser -- and she confessed that she still goes out nearly every night of the week and parties until 4 a.m.
“I highly recommend all people from the age of 20 to 100 don't sit at home,” Zelda said Wednesday night.
“Get out there and mingle with the rest of humanity. … I'm full of energy and even though I'll be 94 in June, I still feel like I'm 20.”
The nightlife queen, flanked by designer Richie Rich, celebrity stylist Mia Morgan and others, said she still has no problem getting through some of the toughest doors in the city.
“The bouncers outside never turn me away,” she said. “They're always so nice and respectful.”
African-fusion and Latin songs filled the air at the club -- music Zelda said is her favorite to dance to.
“But that doesn't mean I don't enjoy a good Lindy Hop every once in a while,” she said.
Proceeds from the fundraiser last night went to the “Keep A Child Alive” foundation.
