Two weeks ago, we announced we would be holding a Hottest Chef in New York competition as a follow up to last November's Daily News poll, and day one of voting begins NOW. How this is going to work: A special panel of experts (women) have ranked all nominated chefs and in standard sporting fashion, the top seeds will face off against the bottom until we have a final list of contenders. In this competition, number one will compete against 42-45, two against 41-38, and so on until we have our final nine. Today, Johnny Iuzzini, the defending champion, goes up against Ryan Skeen, Aaron Sanchez, Martin Brock, and Sandro Micheli. Vote early, vote often, play favorites. May the hottest chef win.
