Okay, Alexis. We know you're the founder of Gilt Groupe (we LOVE) and this was also your party (kudos) and the theme was, in fact, Woodstock, but for the love of all that's holy, this dress is wearing you, sweetheart!
Granted, lots of other attendees at last night's premiere of "Taking Woodstock" went for the hippie, dippy, flower child look, but this really feels overboard. Even if it is Alexander McQueen (which, again, LOVE), Maybank could have at least pulled it all together with a cinched belt or something -- anything -- to break up the headache-inducing kaleidoscope effect of this massive dress. Instead, she chose to top the whole thing off with a flower-and-fringe bag, which only made the whole effect feel like a costume, not a high-end dress (which, believe us friends, this is). We salute your choice of designers, Ms. Maybank, and worship you for your business savvy, but ... well ... yikes.
