Though we were more than a little late to Rachel Antonoff's presentation (darn you, 1 train!), but the designer was kind enough to stay and walk us through her murder mystery-themed presentation.
Antonoff explained this time around she was inspired by Nancy Drew and the Liptons in Woody Allen's Manhattan Murder Mystery --regular people who find great adventure in everyday life. The designer wanted to bring that kind of excitement and adventure into the clothing as well, and in that respect, she did her job very well. The pieces all seem to have something special and a little quirky to them from an oversized collar, a pretty row of buttons, a bit of lace. In essence, the kind of clothes that make you feel like you have your own little secret when you wear them.
