First Look: LD Tuttle's Adventurous Fall 2010 Collection

Season after season, go-to indie favorite footwear label, LD Tuttle, proves itself worthy of all the hype. A winning combination of high-design and chunky durability make Tuttle a go-to among trendsetters seeking practicality with their directional footwear -- and we're delighted to report that Fall '10 does not disappoint.

Inspired by "the urban adventurer," stylish gothamites will have no trouble taming city streets in Tuttle's industrial-strength kicks. Rugged textures like rubberized mesh, distressed leather and roughed-up suede give new life to signature Tuttle shapes, like the uneven wedge or the slope-heel bootie.

We suspect the Bladerunner-esque low wedges with heel cut-outs and color-blocked ankles will be perfect for chasing wild cabs, and the mesh-detail combat boots are ideal for exploring uncharted Meatpacking District territory.  If Shackleton were available to comment, we're certain he would grunt his approval.
