Video: Softspot's “Holy Father”

Brooklyn duo Softspot have released a live-from-the-home-studio clip for their single "Holy Father."

You can check it out below. It features some tricky mirror shots that make it look like the band has  more members that are actually in the group, and a candle-filled, artfully unkempt vibe that echoes the Mazzy Star-by-way-of Jane's Addiction slow eruption of the song.

Softspot is bassist and singer Sarah Kinlaw and guitarist Bryan Keller, who have been friends since kindergarten, along with a rotating cast of drummers.

"Father" is currently available on their EP N o u s, and will be also be included on their debut album, which is due some time later this year.

If you want to get a preview of their new songs, check out their gig at Death By Audio on Feb. 12 and Glasslands on March 11.
