Good news for fans of spiraling architectural interiors and psychedelic pop. MGMT announced that they will be playing at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum as part of the facility’s 2011 International Gala.
With two shows scheduled -- one on Nov. 10 catering to a private after-party, and Nov. 11 open to the public -- Ben Goldwasser and Andrew Van Wyngarden will be on hand to deliver signature tunes from their 2008 debut Oracular Spectacular and 2010 follow-up Congratulations.
Member pre-sale tickets will be available for purchase on Thursday, Oct. 13, with a public sale on the following day via the Guggenheim website.
