Not only are the streets plowed this time around (hooray!), but you can get bargains, too: Today only (Wednesday), due to the snowfall, you can see critical darling La Cage Aux Folles for 40% off the regular ticket price—orchestra seats for the Tony-winning production will run you about $46 instead of $78 at both the 2:30PM and 8PM performances, and the price drops from there (regular ticket prices are $39.50-$132.50, with premium and table seating at $251.50).
The show scooped three Tonys, including the award for Best Revival, and was name-checked on best-of lists for 2010 by everyone from the New York Times to the Wall Street Journal. Kelsey Grammer and Douglas Hodge appear through February 13 only, after which Harvey Fierstein (who penned the show’s book) and Jeffrey Tambor take over.
