Jayne Chacko is a reporter for NBC Connecticut and joined the team in April 2025.

Jayne aims to report with compassion and respect. She loves to learn something new in every story she covers.

Prior to joining NBC Connecticut, she was a reporter and weekend anchor at WTNH News 8 for three years. Before that, she was a reporter at 13 WHAM in Rochester, New York, and WBOC in Salisbury, Maryland.

Jayne was born and raised in New Jersey and is a proud Rutgers University graduate. When she’s not reporting, Jayne loves to read, watch horror movies, and spend time with her family.
