Diana San Juan is the producer and host of Synced In, NBC Bay Area's daily social media show, and Tu Dinero, a weekly segment on Telemundo 48 that offers valuable resources for low-income families in the Bay Area. Born in Sonora, Mexico, and raised in San Jose, CA, Diana has always been passionate about using journalism as a tool to serve her community. As an immigrant, it was her goal to work at a news station that would allow her to speak Spanish, and she is proud to inform the Bay Area community in both English and Spanish.
Diana began her career in 2017 as an intern for Telemundo Responde, later transitioning to the digital team in 2018. Since 2024, she has worked as a Digital Show Producer and Correspondent. Her journalism journey began in high school, where she was part of the student newspaper. At San José State University, she served as the managing editor for The Spartan, earning multiple regional awards, and contributed to Espartano Noticias, a Spanish-language newscast. Diana graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from SJSU in 2017.
When not on-air, Diana enjoys staying active, especially running, spending time with her close-knit family, and traveling back to Mexico, where most of her relatives still live.
