A special WWII reunion for Chuck's father, 44 years after they escaped Nazi territory | Chuck Scarborough 50th Anniversary

It was a phone call from a viewer that Chuck Scarborough says led to a 1987 story that was one of the most personal he ever covered. After a story about a WWII B-17 bomber, a viewer called to say that he served with Chuck’s father, and the two were shot down during a mission. That led to a reunion between the two more than four decades after they escaped Nazi-occupied territory.
