Wrongly Convicted Former Boxer Fighting for Lost Time
Willie Neismith was on his way to a professional boxing career at 20 years old in 1982. His dreams of giving his mother a life without financial struggle were cut short when he was wrongly convicted of rape by a Dickinson College student and spent nearly two decades in jail. Now at 54, Neismith is fighting the state of Pennsylvania to be compensated for the time he spent behind bars.
