Housing Crisis: “Slumlord Millionaires” on the Rise

It is the latest plague of the housing crisis. Banks that made foolish loans foreclose only to find themselves “slumlord millionaires,” lenders taking blighted and often dangerous properties away from distressed mortgage holders. This leaves tenants all over our area wondering: when a bank forecloses on a property, who is left to take care of their building?
