What Happens to the Rockefeller Center Tree When the Season Ends?

The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree was hoisted into place Friday morning, and that’s where it will stay for the next two months. What happens to the 85-foot tree when the holidays are over? Turns out, it will spread a different, more permanent sort of cheer. Andrew Siff reports.
