Urinal Stickers Target Kaepernick

Before you even walk into Winners Circle Sportsbar & Grill in Lakeland, Florida, you’ll see owner Bill Alcock isn’t worried about being what he calls politically correct. A sign hanging on the door says the opposite: “This bar is politically incorrect. We say Merry Christmas, God Bless. We salute the flag and things like that.” Seeing NFL star Colin Kaepernick choose not to salute the flag hit a nerve with owner Bill Alcock. “When the whole Colin Kaepernick thing came about, him not standing for the national anthem, I was kind of offended by it. My dad was a Marine. I just thought it was very, very disrespectful,” Alcock said. He decided to protest in his own way: by putting decals that resemble a mini Kaepernick jersey in the urinals. The jerseys don’t say Kaepernick though, they say “Kaeperd*ck.” “I just thought it would be funny kind of tribute, non-tribute to him,” Alcock said.
