The Bean, a neighborhood coffee shop in the East Village, is getting the boot…by Starbucks! The locally owned coffee shop is on a month to month lease and now the coffee giant Stabucks is taking over their spot. But the crushing blow to The Bean won’t put them out of business. Owners plan to re-open their new store one block away.
