Teachers Bounced From Rubber Room

Mayor Bloomberg and President of the United Federation of Teachers Michael Mulgrew say the days of teachers languishing in “rubber rooms” with full pay and benefits are now over. In an agreement signed Thursday afternoon there will be be an expedited process for dealing with teachers facing disciplinary action. The Mayor says this will save taxpayers millions in wasted teacher’s salaries.
