Stolen Ferrari Runs Out of Gas

A two-week joyride comes to a dead stop when a thief runs out of fuel and ends up asking strangers for gas money in southern California. Police responded to this Santa Ana gas station November 1st after someone notified them that a man in a $340,000 Ferrari was asking for change to buy gas. The Ferrari had been stolen two weeks earlier from a nearby Ferrari dealer after the owner dropped it off for service. The owner’s happiness over news it had been found was short-lived after finding out the suspected thief had trashed the car.
