Security Takes Center Stage at RNC Convention After Attack on La. Police Officers

The deadly attack on officers in Baton Rouge has sparked a new debate over security at the RNC Convention in Cleveland. The head of one of the city’s police unions asked Ohio Gov. John Kasich to temporarily suspend the state’s open carry gun laws in what’s known as the “event zone” surrounding the convention. Kasich said he doesn’t have the power to arbitrarily suspend state laws. Mike Gargiulo reports from Cleveland.
