NBC New York’s Darlene Rodriguez reports live from Havana, Cuba, ahead of the Pope Francis’ visit. Francis is seen as a hero in Cuba for helping to restore diplomatic relations between the long-isolated country and the U.S. A fairly small percentage of Cubans identify as Catholic — some put the number as high as 27 percent, others, as low as 10 percent. Either way, the Cuban people believe Pope Francis’ visit could change their future.
