One Bag at a Time: Kids Feeding Other Kids

Students from the Geneva School of Manhattan give up their after-lunch playtime to pack snack bags for the preschoolers at Bushwick United Head Start and five other Head Start schools as part of the “Nom Nom Snack Bag Project.” The new initiative aims to send home snack bags on Fridays with the children from low-income families to make sure they eat on the weekend.
