NYPD Chopper Makes Dramatic Grab, Saves Two West Point Recruits

The NYPD aviation unit traveled far out of its jurisdiction to make a dangerous and dramatic late night rescue. Two recruits from the United States Military Academy in West Point were stranded on a cliff side of Storm King Mountain. Hanging on to a tree branch for hours, they waited for rescue.
