NYPD Officer Charged With Assaulting Protester

An NYPD officer has been charged with assault, criminal mischief, harassment and menacing for allegedly “violently” shoving a 20-year-old woman to the ground during a Barclays Center protest over the death of George Floyd, prosecutors said Tuesday. Katherine Creag reports.
