Gov. Christie Orders Stop to NJ Road Construction

Gov. Christie ordered road construction to be stopped in New Jersey. It’s the latest in the battle over the transportation trust fund. The executive order came after the state Senate decided not to vote on raising the gas tax to 23 cents per gallon. The measure would have put more money into the transportation trust fund, but the Senate said it wants more cuts to other taxes to help offset the gas tax hike.
