Newark to Close East Ward Streets in Attempt to Halt COVID-19 Spread

The mayor of New Jersey’s largest city is shutting down streets in certain COVID hotspots — and requiring proof of residence for those traveling past curfew — in yet another effort to curb soaring rates of viral spread.
