New Heat Surrounding Race for NY's 9th Congressional District

A new endorsement is stirring the pot in the race for New York’s 9th Congressional District. Former New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani has thrown his political weight behind Republican candidate Bob Turner. Turner will be facing Democratic Assemblyman David Weprin in a special election this September. The seat was vacated in June when Anthony Weiner resigned from the post amid a sexting scandal.
