Nassau County Legislator Charged With Attacking Girlfriend

A Nassau County legislator has been arrested on assault and child endangerment charges after allegedly grabbing his girlfriend on the neck and pushing her against a wall as the woman’s teenage child tried to intervene, authorities say.
