MoMA Exhibit Features Lost Film Footage Featuring Black Actors

A new MoMA exhibit features a silent film that speaks volumes: it is the earliest surviving footage of a film that featured a cast of black actors. Shot in a Bronx film studio and likely a park in Englewood, N.J. in 1913, curators say it’s extraordinary for what happens on screen and behind the scenes. David Ushery has more.
