Mom Fights to Keep Memorial for Murdered Son Amid Tribute Complaints

A Minnesota mother is fighting to keep a memorial for her murdered son in the public eye until his killer is caught. Jonathan O’Shaugnessy was killed on July 3, 2017. The city of Richfield helped the family build a bench to honor his memory, but now, more than a year and a half later, they’re asking his mother to clean it all up after nearly a half-dozen community complaints about tributes surrounding it.
