Mayor Announces $7M to Upgrade NYPD Bulletproof Vests

In what could be perceived as a peace offering from Mayor de Blasio to the NYPD, he’s announced an allocation of more than $7 million to upgrade bulletproof vests for 13,000 officers. Government Affairs reporter Melissa Russo reports.
