Man Who Killed Wife's Would-Be Rapist Released on Own Recognizance

Mamadou Diallo was released on his own recognizance after being charged with manslaughter in the killing of a man who allegedly tried to rape his wife. Some strangers outside the court cheered when he walked out, saying they’d heard about the case and that he should not have been arrested.
