Leaders of Largest K2 Ring in NYC History Arrested Abroad

Two alleged ringleaders of the largest synthetic marijuana ring in NYC history were arrested by police in Dubai. They’ve been flown Friday to New York for trial. A raid of their alleged network back in September uncovered warehouses full of K2 and dozens of stores selling the drug to teens and others. “Spice is not marijuana in kind of the same way that a bazooka is not a BB gun,” U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara said.
