Who is Rezso Kasztner? Exactly. He’s a Jew who negotiated face to face with Adolf Eichmann to save Jewish lives during the Holocaust. Kasztner secured a rescue train for 1684 Jews from Budapest, and bargained for tens of thousands of more lives. Yet, he was accused of the deaths of hundreds of thousands of other Jews for withholding crucial information about the Auschwitz death camp and was eventually killed by one of his own people.
