Surge in Forgotten Fund Claims After I-Team Report

The New York State Comptroller’s Office says web traffic has doubled on their search site for unclaimed funds after the I-Team reported that a href=”http://www.nbcnewyork.com/investigations/I-Team-Billions-of-Unclaimed-Cash-tied-to-Hard-hit-Sandy-Neighborhoods-182092831.html”>the state is holding millions of dollars belonging to people who live in the areas hardest hit by Sandy.
