Hempstead Official Accused of Stealing from GOP Group

The deputy commissioner for the Hempstead Department of Buildings was arrested Tuesday for allegedly stealing thousands from a Republican committee to pay his mortgage, go on a wine trip and get high-end candies. NBC 4 New York’s Pei-Sze Cheng reports.
