Girl Scalped in Horrifying Carnival Ride Accident Makes Amazing Recovery

Elizabeth “Lulu” Gilreath was just 11 years old when her hair got caught on a carnival ride, her very first, in Omaha, Nebraska, in May 2016. Gilreath was scalped that day. She has since had two head surgeries, three skin grafts, one eye surgery and 28 blood transfusions.
