Elderly Couple Faces Eviction Because of Singing Pup

Rita and Murray Hyman have lived in the Bonnie House Co-Op in Riverdale for more than 20-years. The couple dog-sits for their daughter Julie, but according to the building management – the Hymans are violating the building’s ‘no pet’ harboring clause in their lease. Rita Hyman says that the pooch, Rocky, is a therapy dog that helped her significantly after she was injured in a car accident a few years back. Her daughter has filed a disability discrimination suit against Bonnie House who could not be reached for comment. Demarco Morgan brings us more from Riverdale.
