Celebrating the 150th Anniversary of College Football

On this date in 1869, Rutgers hosted the first-ever collegiate football game against Princeton. To mark the occasion on Wednesday, the university rang the bells at Old Queens and unveiled a plaque where the game was played. Rutgers won that first contest, 6-4. NBC New York’s Bruce Beck reports.
