Brooklyn Couple Coaxes Raccoon Down from Pole: ‘I Think He Wanted to, He Just Didn't Know That He Could'

Bushwick residents Jason Miller and Carol Anne Leslie were determined to bring down a raccoon that was curled up on top of a pole in Brooklyn for at least 10 hours. They taped together a few brooms and coaxed the animal down in what they describe as a rewarding rescue.
