Bloomberg Presents 2014 NYC Budget

Mayor Bloomberg presented his final city budget Thursday, a nearly $70 billion spending plan. But it doesn’t address questions about whether the city will end up paying billions of dollars in retroactive raises if new labor agreements are reached. The mayor says the city simply can’t afford to do that, but some mayoral candidates say he’s leaving a pricey problem for his successor. Melissa Russo reports.
