Alan Newton: Wrongly Imprisoned

Alan Newton was man wrongly imprisoned for 21 years after being wrongly convicted of rape in NYC in 1985. He was released in 2006 after new DNA evidence exonerated him. Yesterday, he was awarded $18.5 million in damages by a jury, a decision which the city has said it wll appeal. Tonight, he was on NYNN to talk ahout all of it.
