Madoff Settlement “Largest Forfeiture Recovery in U.S. History”

Southern District Attorney General Preet Bharara said at a news conference that the settlement “represents the largest forfeiture recovery in U.S. history” and offers significant hope for the many victims of Madoff’s “horrific crimes.”
