9-Year-Old Girl Calls 911 After Triple Murder-Suicide in NYC During Birthday Celebration

A 45-year-old mother and two of her daughters were shot dead by the father of her youngest child after he came to the Brooklyn apartment to celebrate the birthday of the little girl the two shared, police and other officials said Tuesday. It was their child — who was apparently about to turn 9 or just did — who called 911 late Monday to report the death of her mom and two older sisters at the hand of her father in Brownsville, the NYPD said.
