Mets and Phillies Fans Get Violent Again

Mets-Phillies games are a danger zone

Earlier this week we brought you pictures of a bloodied Mets fan at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. Some believed that post was in some way intended to paint Phillies fans in a negative light, which couldn't be further from the truth.

The point is to paint all fans who behave like drunken louts and turn baseball games into an excuse to beat up other people in a negative light. As such, here's a video from Citi Field, courtesy of Sports By Brooks, showing that neither team's stadium provides safe haven for visitors.

The ol' knock the helmet off and hide behind the big guy move is the act of a true warrior.

The only silver lining to these brawls is that by the time the two teams play all of their games this season there's a chance that all of these dopes will have knocked each other off and left the stadiums safe for people who simply enjoy watching baseball.
