Joe Girardi: Chica-Joe Bound?

With his contract expiring at the end of the season, and with no extension in place, it was the perfect storm for Joe Girardi in the Yankee dugout Friday in Chicago. His hometown Cubs, the team that drafted him as a player, has a managerial opening, and his name is at the top of the list to be managing on Chicago’s northside next season. Girardi addressed that very issue in the dugout before the series opener against the Windy City’s other team.
