The post-Christmas blizzard proved a windfall for city sanitation workers who raked in the overtime, some making more than $5,000.
Supervisor David Timmes topped the OT list for blizzard duty, making $5,948.17 for 84 hours of overtime in seven days, according to the New York Post.
Next was Superintendent John Dwyer, whose 64 additional hours earned him an extra $5,568.54, according to city records obtained by the paper.
Ten sanitation workers earned at least $4,842 in overtime from Dec. 26 to 31, said the Post, citing payroll records.
However all of these were bosses -- not the workers who were actually out clearing away the snow.
