Remembering WNBC engineer Bill Steckman, who died in Twin Tower attacks

The WNBC engineer was overseeing the station’s transmitter atop the World Trade Center on 9/11, and left behind a family that will always remember the man known for his inventions and his love of his 1962 Pontiac Bonneville convertible, which he would use to take the family to their favorite beach on Long Island.
