Purdue Pharma Files for Bankruptcy

The company the made billions producing the addictive painkiller OxyCotin filed for bankruptcy, and the owners of the company will not have to admit wrongdoing in the ongoing opioid crisis. Many states are fighting the filing, saying the Sackler family siphoned billions out of their company to protect their personal fortune. NBC New York’s Melissa Russo reports.
