Public Advocate Backtracks on School Lunch Comments

Earlier this week the New York City Council ripped into the de Blasio administration for rejecting a proposal to offer free lunch to every child in public school regardless of financial ability. The heated debate inspired particular outrage from Public Advocate Letitia James who said “free lunch for all” had big name backers like Senator Kirsten Gillibrand.
